帝國雜誌評選 2019 年 20 部最佳電影
先前已經看過由英國電影協會出版的〈視與聽〉雜誌投票選出的2019 年度佳片，而較偏向娛樂性質的〈帝國雜誌〉也於日前公佈了本年度的佳片名單，雖然當中仍有不少因上映日期而上榜的電影像是《黑洞迷情》、《她的偽造遊戲》、《真寵》等，但也證明了這些作品確實有值得品味之處；此外，當然也包括了有《愛爾蘭人》、《婚姻故事》、《小丑》等廣獲好評的奧斯卡獎季作品，以及全球票房賣破20 億美元成為影史票房冠軍的《復仇者聯盟：終局之戰》也名列其中，完整名單如下：

2017年度《帝國》十佳影片出爐，兩部瑞恩·高斯林影片《愛樂之城》《銀翼殺手2049》入選，成為最受矚目的男星。其中有四部涉及LGBT主題的電影，不得不說這很“英國”；韓國影片《小姐》成唯一入榜亞洲電影。
當然，獲得冠軍的影片出乎很多人的意料，《帝國》雜誌對它的評價是“很久沒有出現如此令人激動的新聲音了”。
《帝國》是英國最受歡迎的老牌影迷雜誌之一，其出品的各種評選榜單頗受矚目。 2017年度二十佳完整榜單；入圍電影資格以英國首映的時間為準，因此《愛樂之城》等電影被歸到2017年。
